CHOCOLATE ANYONE? Did you know that this holiday is always held on July 7? Although, some people want to celebrate Chocolate Day every day!
Chocolate Day is the perfect opportunity to eat your favorite chocolates in great portions. Do you really need another excuse to indulge with your favorite food treat?
Chocolate was first introduced to Europe on July 7, 1550. And of course chocolate has become America’s favorite flavor. It’s the flavor of choice in so many different types of food such as candies, ice cream, cakes, breakfast cereal, toppings, and a whole host of desserts, even drinks.
Indulge on National Chocolate Day
Get creative with your chocolates…you can always create a beautiful masterpiece to indulge in. One of my favorites is the Chocolate Martini. Here’s my tried and true recipe for you to try:
3.0 oz Vanilla Vodka + 2.5 oz Kaluha + 3.5 oz Half & Half + Shaved Dark Chocolate + 8 oz Crushed Ice + Shake. Pour into two of your favorite Martini glasses = Sinful Pleasure of Chocolate Indulgence.
Dark chocolate is another way I indulge, especially if it is paired with raspberries or strawberries. YUM! No wonder chocolate deserves a day in its honor.
